  2. iver been given a quote from a friends mate, who does work for nissan . Full respray, including dent repairs etc £1000
  3. Afternoon All, So the weekend i'm going to service my new wrx 2002. now..ive always serviced my own cars no problem, but the engine looks very cramped. How easy is it to change the oil, plug and oil fitter. any special tools required, how much oil does it take. The best oil for the car etcc.. Many thanks all
  4. i wouldnt trust my self to be honest, id get runs etc i think, and i dont have a garage or anything
  5. yes ideally a hks one.
  6. it does have a forged dump valve. (want a new one) I know they dont jay, but i dont want to spend more than the cars worth to be honest.
  7. ive had a few turbo cars, and you could hear them all slightly its not really bad i think tis coming from the dump valve to be honest. there has been work done on a seized caliper so im going to replace both and pads and replace the front pads, all with brembo pads and discs as they look more on the low side.
  8. Right, Never owned a scooby before. I have a 2002 bug eye WRX and a couple of questions. When reversing, and you press the brake, there a clunk coming from the front somewhere, when going forward nothing. also, the accelerating the turbo, does whoosh slightly just making sure this is normal. Other than that I need a new disk on the rear but everything else seems fine. Just need a respray or wrap ,b ut want a cheap good job doing really if anyone knows anywhere in the Midlands. cheers all
  9. Hi guys. I currently have a forged dump valve but not to keen looking for a hks one if possible second hand preferably . Many thanks
  10. Does anyone have an hks dump valve for sale to fit the bug eye?
  11. That would be great if you could
  12. There's a company by me called wrap kings and he wants £1100 . But I don't known of its good quality or not. I wouldn't want bubbles or anything I would want it to look like it's been painted.
  13. I was wondering if I get it wrapped (thinking Matt black) would I have to change the log book as it's dark blue now. And does anyone know of anyone cheap who can do it
  14. It desperately needs doing but there's no rush I don't think. Engines still sweet and goes like the clappers so it's all good
  15. I've just called somewhere they said £1100 for a full wrap. I'm pretty sure I could get It sprayed for that with someone my friend knows . But what I like about the wrap is it's easier and quicker. But just don't really want to pay that much to be honest. .
  16. I have thought about it how much is it roughly and does it look good?
  17. Oh only one gone on prob because I'm on my iphone
  18. Attached are the pics
  19. im gooing to get a price on a respray, the maybe a tracker but not sure if its worth it. its been remapped but i dont know what to, id guess probably 270 with the exhuast it has
  20. well its £958 a year. put reg in etc thats the price was given. full certification from vosa so no problems. im 26 with 4 years no claims
  21. so i bought one!! 85,000k fulls service history. mot and tax 2002 wrx with prodrive pack and sti spoiler only problem was cat d. Paint work one side, and slight roof has started to fade, could do with rep spraying, last owner for 5 years, so will need quotes. £1800.00 obivously if it was mint i would be talking £3000 id imagine with all the extras it has.
  22. I'm just going to wait for the right bug eye. The insurance is cheap and they're quick. There a few really nice ones but they wanting £2500 and won't go down to £2100 I'll go and look at that red one Saturday I think in Wigan
  23. Why is it so expensive
  24. i really like this but insurance is coming up at £4000.00 for some reason cheapest. On a 2001 wrx its £1000 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201402021498623/sort/locasc/usedcars/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/make/subaru/model/impreza/price-to/2500/postcode/dy29sf/page/1/radius/200?logcode=p
  25. so di mate but it's a risk . I know cars lose about 1.5 bhp a year if not looked after . Also a car with over 100,000miles I'm scared to be honest as most of these have been thrashed
