  1. Very nice and your going to have to add a T on your user name now
  2. No I have a light on the dash that comes on when you turn the ignition on.its a picture of a headlight with an arrow pointing up an down.from what I can gather out of the jargon that is the handbook that light on the dash means they self level depending on the weight in the boot.i don't really fancy putting half a ton in the back to make the lights come up lol
  3. Is there any way of adjusting the headlights and is it easy to do because I can only see about 10ft in front of me at night unless on full beam
  4. MPG is now SPG (smiles per gallon)
  5. Mine came with a certificate from prodrive with the reg number on it and an invoice for parts fitted and mapping so while probably not essential worth looking out for when going through the paperwork.
  6. I bought my 2.5 XT already with the PPP so I can't compare the two but I love it.i got home with it and my 15 year old daughter said "huhh looks like a grandad car" to wich I replied let's go for a test drive.there were a few screams and she got out shaking so I think she has a little more respect for it now lol.also as stanton500 says the boost is highly addictive but that will result in a lot more frequent visits to the pumps.
  7. Cheers Brazzaville I'll give it a try
  8. Ok will do,thanks
  9. Cheers gambit but which pipes do you mean,I've checked the air intake pipe around the maf and that seemed ok are there any other pipes I should check.
  10. Tried a new maf today and it's still the same once it's warmed up,I have plugged my code reader in to it and there are no faults so I guess some new spark plugs and a fuel filter are next on the list.could anyone recommend the NGK iridium ones I've been looking at and is it worth changing the leads aswell.thanks
  11. I've been looking on eBay for some ignition leads for my car but all that comes up are leads for an outback 2.5 or a legacy 2.5 etc, does anybody know if these are the same.
  12. Yes I will bazza,I've got a cheap (non denso) MAF coming tomorrow of eBay so hopefully that will eliminate that.
  13. Ok I'll give it a try thanks
  14. I'll check the hoses tonight,I've got a scanner and checked for codes it didn't throw any up.do you use intake and carb cleaner for the throttle body.
  15. Ok thanks,I'll try unplugging it while it's running see what happens.i did try cleaning it the other day but it's still the same.it will be going in for a service next month for oil, plugs, filter and leads so hopefully one of these should sort it.
