Hi Guys, I always wondered how much can we push the scoobies? Honestly I take so much care on mine that I have never did a drag for example, or drive it "like I stole it" xD because I was always afraid that I could break something... but on the other hand... its suppose to be driven like mad since are WRX or STI's The discusion here is... How much can we push our cars? (As stock....) :P

Well at least that was what the mechanic said... that it didnt fit :(

Nope, it was originally intended for a TD05 apparently... didnt fitted on the TD04 :(

Probably yes... :( maybe I can drive there but not sure because of my new job :(

Selling: - HKS Downpipe for the GC8's, used but in good condition :) - 70 - HKS Up pipe NEW in box - 100 - HKS Turbo Actuator NEW in box - 80 Didnt fit for mine the up pipe since its all one piece mine :( also the actuator didnt fit on my TD04... and since im moving to spain, they dont like downpipes without catalyst... :S

Sorry to revive this old topic, but I heard that if the downpipe doesn't have a catalyst it will be illegal, it is true? I will have on the middle section a catalyst from the HKS Hi Power... would be ok the emissions?

Maintenance? You mean, put some fuel from time to time and improve it? ;)

Thanks, but the pulleys its something that looks like a strong piece that wont break that easy ;) its not a bimmer... xD Already have the tensioner, belt and water pump :D

So I should get also: Tensioner Water pump And thats it? :) And no over tension it

But the tighten is given by the tensioner, right?

Hi Guys, another challenging question for the forum :P I have changed the oil at the 93.000 miles, and now im around 94, 95.000 around that, I almost dont use the scooby, only for going groceries twice a week and some small trip on weekends, they say we should change the oil after the 5.000 miles... but it actually depends on how you use the car? or is it strictly after the 5.000 miles? (I have to cross whole spain, since Im moving to Gibraltar next month :( :) :P ) I know one guy who owns a S2000 and went to Germany, raced on the Nurburgring, keep touring in germany, came back and the oil was still yellow... :P Thanks!

Hahahhaha almost... but shhhhh... xD I just love HKS parts, there are properly made and the brand has as the scoobie has, some good heritage :) Plus, mine got it for 20 pounds used from ebay xD plus 10 for a new HKS filter as well :P

How many HP could a TD04 take? :P I think that the actuator that I bought from HKS can be modified... :D

Yup, it goes straight... already bought a new actuator for it, probably planning to do a maintenance to it, ask the guys from the garage to clean it, maybe get a new up-pipe and down-pipe... since its still cheaper than getting a remapping xDDDD gosh, cant believe that a mapping could be THAT expensive! its madness! (or sparta... :P )

Thanks guys for the help! :D yeah... 500 pounds of just mapping is just crazy :( Yup, mine is a front turbo, doesnt have the air pipe straight... I was thinking maybe a good TD04 that could resist more? than the stock one... :P what you think guys? is that even possible? :D
