  1. I need to replace my condensor. Has anyone done this? Is it easier to dismantle from the front, or remove the radiator first?
  2. Thanks for all the advice. I'll be changing it for something decent and long lasting!
  3. What is the correct antifreeze for my car? It's presently blue, but the I can't find the longlife Subaru blue anywhere. Would something like Chillfactor or Prestone be suitable when I come to replace it?
  4. Four black painted Subaru alloy wheels of two different designs, fitted with Ovation W586 185/65/R15 winter tyres. In excellent condition with 7mm tread. £80, collection from Cheshire. NOW SOLD!
  5. It worked! Thanks again.
  6. Thanks Adam. From what you said, is it possible that disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours might clear them? The battery was disconnected for about an hour when I changed the nearside plugs. The lights came on when I started the car on (first) changing the offside plugs (to check everything was OK)!
  7. I changed the spark plugs on my mk3 2.0RX today, and forgot to plug the MAF plug in before starting the car. I now have the EML and vehicle dynamics lights on and the cruise control light flashing intermittently - having looked on Youtube this seems to be a standard warning light sequence. Is there any way of cancelling the lights without using a code reader. If not where is the OBD port located?
  8. Thanks for the info. Changed the oil today, easy job, and the dipstick hole is wide enough to take a length of garden hose so no problem refilling.
  9. Do I have to fill the gearbox from the dipstick hole on my Mk3 after draining the oil? I've also bought some NGK Iridium plugs (SILFR6A11). I know they will be set at the factory, but what is the correct gap?
  10. I've now confirmed this by looking at the Blueprint catalogue. Unfortunately, there is no part listing for the filter. I wonder how much Subaru charge for replacing this?
  11. Looks like it may be in the fuel tank: Part Number: IN_TANK Fuel Filter IMPREZA 2007> 2.0i H/b - R, RX £POA Inc VAT Not Available for in store collection. Available for home delivery only Part Information Add to Basket Part Number IN_TANK Description Fuel Filter Drivetrain 4 x 4 5 MTM + ATM Engine Type 16v DOHC Chassis Series GH7 Engine Code EJ204 Vehicle Market UK
  12. Still no nearer an answer. On a North American Subaru forum (discussing an 08 2.5 Impreza) someone suggests the filter is part of the fuel pump assembly. Does anyone know?
  13. That's not the set up in my car. What I think may be the filter is mounted low down and sideways below the fusebox and furry pipe in this picture: Its also a third of the size of the supposed "correct" replacement part from Eurocarparts. That's why I keep asking!
  14. I took a couple more pictures in the daylight so can anyone confirm whether this the fuel filter? If it is, where I can get a like for like replacement?
  15. Thanks for the replies. I've found what I think is the filter mounted sideways next to the nsf turret. Is this it? It's only 4cm deep. The supposed correct replacement from ECP is 10cm deep with the outlets at a different angle (sorry for the poor picture). Is this the correct replacement part as I don't think there's enough space to fit it?
