subaru ecu
Hi there, I completely agree with the previous comments. If you look at my car mods in the gallery section, I changed a lot of things before I considered changing the ECU. My ECU has come from the same version of car with a prodrive pack. I now have the chance to change the ECU again, one I put some equal lenght exhaust manifolds. This new ECU is from Haywood and Scott.

Noise coming from the rear!
HELP! Recently there has been weird noise coming from the back of my scooby. When I put the car under load in a corner a sound that I can only describe as a 'rubbing' noise appears. I had the rear wheels off and can not find any evidence of tyre rubing. More recently withing the last few days there is a constant "klunk", but when I speed up the noise goes away. Any ideas?

Suspension on a 2005 impreza STI
I have had 2005 suspension fitted to my 2001 bugeye. But it seams that the back of my Scooby is stuck up in the air. Is the suspension sided (ie, left and right labelled shocks)? Any thoughts?

My 01 Bugeye with a PPP added by myself.
I've had no problems at all with this new ECU. The car runs a lot better. I just made sure the ECU came from the same year of Subaru. I do fancy taking the car to the UK so I can have the ECU mapped again. Hoping for at least 270bhp, its running an estimated 250bhp at the moment.

Subaru a yobs car ?
For me is Knobs in Citroen saxo's, there always trying to race there little cars with there tiny little 1.6ltr engines of the lights. The thing is they only aspire to own a Subaru, but 9 times out of 10 they cant get insured!

My 01 Bugeye with a PPP added by myself.
My WRX was just a standard model, until I got very board with its performance. It started with a simple Turbo back exhaust system with a new Prodrive rear silencer and a panel filter. Then it was time of the smaller intercooler to go and an STI one was fitted along with a Red inlet manifold. (Just because it looks better). Finally I managed to get hold of a prodrive ECU from a UK300 and plugged that in. Now it sitting on 2004 STI shocks with Prodrive lowering springs. I have changed the full interior to STI spec as well.

Mud flaps
Those prodrive flaps are not the cheapest. I was planning to get the WRC flaps and just put the prodrive decals on the bottom.

Hawkeye WRX Intercooler Swap
I replaced my WRX intercooler with an STI one. One difference being a larger surface area, colder air for the intake.

Intercooler
I have a 2001 WRX bugeye. I want to change the intercooler. Will the intercooler from an STI bugeye fit straight in?
