  1. You know you want this rather than a Focus! Go ooon...! I'd rather it went to a forum member than some tyre kicker off ebay... Cheers.
  2. Now on eBay boys and girls. New updated advert, £1500 start price, no reserve!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263129215301
  3. Hi all I've now got my new car, so the Legacy is seriously up for sale. It will go on Ebay, Autotrader etc. shortly. It's now done a smidge over 111,000 miles. MOT till June 4th 2018, no advisories. Anyone want a cheap Spec B?
  4. Hi all Still for sale! Mainly because I've not tried to sell it too hard, as I've not found a replacement car yet. However, it now has a full year's MOT (no advisories at all), and the exhaust has been welded. The noise from the rear is still there, but no worse as far as I can tell! Offers around £2750 considered...
  5. Thanks all. That's not going to work then! Shame.
  6. I think you're right, it would bugger the centre diff. Shame. Thanks.
  7. Hmm. Good question! I don't know what the ratio of the front diff is, and I was only thinking in terms of effect on the rear wheels of replacing the rear diff with one of a slightly different ratio... <goes off to scratch head>
  8. Hi all Just wondering - does anyone know if the rear diff from a 2008 3.0 automatic Outback would also fit a 2004 3.0 manual Legacy? According to Opposed Forces, my diff has a 3.545:1 final ratio. According to an ebay seller, their automatic Outback diff has a 3.3:1 ratio. If the seller is correct, which I'm not totally sure of, is the 0.2 difference in final ratio likely to make a noticeable difference? Cheers. Giles
  9. Thanks Jay I've not pushed it too hard, and maybe big petrol engined cars aren't popular at the moment. Had some interest. Plus the possible diff noise may put people off - I've had a quote of £700 to refurbish it, so a lot cheaper than buying a new one from Subaru! And it may well be possible to get it done cheaper elsewhere...
  10. A few pictures from today attached. Not much space around the car I'm afraid so they're a bit tight.
  11. Thanks Stants. Just to add - the alloys are a bit corroded in parts, though they work fine. The tyres all hold air perfectly. Satnav disc was replaced with the updated 2013/14 disc, and the original disc comes with the car too.
  12. Right, a few pictures to tempt people! These are from summer, not had a chance to take fresh ones yet.
  13. It has a tow bar too! Though I've never towed anything with it.
