    Sorry, Crankslave. I got rid of my Outback only 5 months after buying it after two breakdowns in two weeks on a European trip back in 2014 so I don't know if all of them had HID. I can only suggest you take one bulb out and take a look, but from my (hazy) recollection both low beam and high beam were HID. Sorry cannot help more.

    Hi, I have a couple of spare HID bulbs I had bought in 2014 for my Outback. They are not OEM bulbs but some other aftermarket version. I don't need them and happy to give them to you if you want. Bulbs are D2S. I might be able to find the original online order if you want more info.
