  1. Gave up on poly bushes eventually! After loads of phone calls around Subaru specialists and the like it seems nobody stocked correct size and shape for this model. (23mm diameter front anti roll bar and 17mm rear according to my calipers!)

Just not enough of them around it seems.

If you have an Impreza the worlds your lobster though!

You can get a complete new anti- way bar front and rear and bushes for £300+ but still tread carefully as to which model it is designated to when it comes to the Legacy MK V estate. Even local Subaru dealer confessed to having to be very careful with model designations..apparently Subaru have swapped names of Outlander/Legacy/ Legacy Outback/ Legacy Outback Station Wagon..and any other permutation you can think of over the years

Even Forester gets a look in depending on some sites selling parts.........Need VIN number every time and that seems beyond most after market specialists. Ended up buying OEM rubber Bushes from Subaru garage, £31 for front and rear so not totally a rip off. However taking old ones off and comparing diameter of bushes the old ones had definitely worn to an extra 1-2 mm wide. Just awaiting wheels back from refurbisher and I will know if front end "looseness" over rough tarmac has been cured (yes I did do the sway bar linkages when first noticed problem but that didn't stop issue, also checked all linkages and suspension bushes which still seem all fine as are Shocks also.)
