  2. Thanks anyway man. Maybe playing cards in the spokes for more sound is my next step, cheap mods
  3. And stants, do I need a new intake duct and an elbow pipe to connect, or just leave it open? Or I have even seen propose put in a speaker vent port in to open it up and direct air better
  4. I here the pods need proper heat shielding and such to be better than the standard panel. Also it will make my insurance go up more than its worth
  5. I asked for a cam belt kit change, I think the fact they Quoted so low with little explanation actually put me of, made me think they can't be offering the same work at the same quality
  6. don't know if this is of use?
  7. your not looking to sell that intake duct are you ;)
  8. They seem to be highly recommended, some other small garage who work on subaru's just quoted me £550 for the lot, but i still think i would rather have these guys do it for the extra, just for the security and quality of work
  9. Good morning all, i am currently running a stock air intake system on my 03 blob, although I don't have the intake duct fitted (See below) and i have a high flow panel filter in place What I want is good sound and power, so what is best to do in terms of result and cost effectiveness. Remove the resonator next to the air filter and leave it open, not replacing the intake duct. remove the resonator and replacing the intake duct, adding in a GP moto elbow to connect the duct to the filter box or something else that you could suggest? any tips will be awesome :) thanks guys. (also if it makes any difference I have a ninja backbox and a 2.5" muffler delete straight pipe and a dump valve fitted)
  10. No, they couldn't get them before April, so I found a guy on ebay, from the doncaster area, the guy wasnt the nicest guy to deal with but he was selling them and I wanted them.
  11. this is from Sheffield Subaru Services, i haven't heard of Martin or Dave before?
  12. hello all, I have a 2003 Impreza blob with 35K genuine miles on, as I have just purchased this car I want to give it a good service before i run it. I have found a good Subaru garage to do a Full service at £380 (with a bit of spare fluid for top ups), Full Cambelt Kit change at £380, Alignment and balance of all 4 wheels at £80 it seems to have had its engine oil changed often and has had its 10, 20 and 30K small services. my understanding is more due to the age of the car that this work is needed. does all this sound right and do the prices look right? Kind regards Chris
  13. Thanks man, and in my "book of everything done to my car ever" it's not mentioned, maybe just someone breaking it off by accident or it being lost somewhere, who knows. I shall purchase a new one thanks buddy
  14. Why would someone remove this and should I buy a new one? What do I need to type in on ebay to find one?
  15. I am hoping that the circled air intake thing is not put on all cars as mine doesn't have one... I have a 2003 impreza Blob 2.0, with an engine bay like so.... should i be worried it doesn't have this thing? (It has got a high flow panel air filter and ninja back box but no other mods I am aware of that effect air... bits Please help ease my mind and educate me :)
  16. Well after much trial and error i got some new lights sorted and eventually got them wired in, set the angel eyes as day time running lights :) and the top 3 LEDs on my fog lights, as I don't have front fogs I really love the transformation from the old scuft lights :D worth the stress of fitting, also got chrome indicators to keep it looking clean (my hands froze doing this in snow!) (angel eyes In the dark, not the best representation of how they look but still
  17. Hello all, i have some LED strip lights that i am going to fit in my foot wells, I did this before in my Astra but only wired them in series, i.e. in one end of the strip out the other, into the next strip. my question is, to stop back wiring can I wire them in parallel with out dimming or killing my supply? i am not running large lengths of the strips so that shouldn't be an issue. i just wanted to be sure I can do this, to save having wire going all over
  18. I love the Goodyear Eagal F1 Asymmetric, you can get them ordered as is or ordered and fitted at a local garage. http://www.blackcircles.com/tyres/brands/goodyear/eagle-f1-asymmetric-2
