Ok iv managed to get a pipe to get it going and moving however im finding that when it gets to 18-19psi it stutters almost as if fuel cut is coming in. How ever its running a gems ecu, it has a hks fuel cut defender on i think its set to stock could this becausing it to cut?

I couldn't see one when i swapped the pipes over?

I think its a sensor, going to get some vac lines remove the T and put a straight through pipe! It was the rubber pipe from the intercool to dump valve :(

I had a quick go! Was like a completely different car but hose split :( going to try and get one but doubt anywhere local will do one!

Ok the car was boosting around 9-10psi wether i had the standard ecu or the gems ecu in. The top and bottom hoses where the wrong way round, its supposed to be running 285bhp on the gems ecu boost peaked at around 19psi does this sound right?! Unfortunately i only got 2 miles down the road and a hose split?!

So if it was the wrong way it would cut boost early?

What would be the effect if they were the wrong way round?

This is a monster of a mess up and a monster of a clean up before it can become anything like a project for me! Im learning to never buy someone elses project!

Cant say that this is fun. Sick to death of all the stupid things the previous owner has botched! I had one of the HID headlights go out so after check the bulb i took a look at the wiring, the earth cable wasnt connected to anything! !!

3 i think, its a pipe as its blocked.

Black pipe goes to bottom of boost solenoid, blue goes to manifold and the cable looking thing is cut off and blocked

it is cable tied to the wiring loom, with a bolt in it to stop it leaking :/ doesnt look factory then?

So still trying to sort everything out that the divvy tinkered with on this impreza. I have found a vaccum hose that comes of the the manifold and goes to a 3 way connector, its not a normal plastic joint, it is a metal block with a very narrow pipe coming off it, looks like it could be factory fitted but not sure this pipe goes off and is plugged at the end, the other connector goes to the boost solenoid near the drivers side wing. any advice would be appreciated. regards Mike

Obviously it will effect the exhaust gaskets and turbo but how does it effect the internals of the engine?

So I just bought one, what are peoples thoughts? Bit of progress with the scooby aswell, FMIC fitted today wooo.... going away next week so won't be going on a dyno until i get back :( FMIC, 3' exhaust, decat TDo5 16g turbo with remap will i be able to get over 300?

All the lights come on, but they dim as I try and crank it. Could it be as simple as a poorly charged battery? The idiot who had it previously has put all led lights in the cabin. Not sure how they have been wired

Hey guys, Scooby is runny lovely ATM however occasionally when I come to start it it struggles to start. I can hear the fuel pump prime but it just won't crank. Any ideas?

Doesn't appear in either, mechanic is going to put a silicone hose on for time being will get a photo tomorrow mate.

Hey guys, my mechanic has found a split pipe, its a small U shape that runs close to the throttle body anyone any idea what its for? Appears to be a very stiff pipe looking for a replacement.
