Is that the standard chip in a z4 ecu?

I was told 1994 wrx is 260bhp?

Its not remapped, does have a chip but guy I bought it off said it was running 260

Hasn't fix idle issues but iv been thinking (not normally a good thing) the ecu i bought has MAF delete when i use that ecu the idle runs solid at 1500rpm (rotational idle with als) does this point to MAF? When I unplug it one original ecu car stalls

probably take some getting used to! However my boost topped out at about 10psi! So my old BOV look like it may of had a minor leak!

Ok so ran it for a day and it sounded weird so got a dv first thing today. Bought a genuine hks ssqv with fitting kit. I have to say it sounds so weird!!!! On low boost it does have a bit of a psssst to it but on high boost it chirps sounds like iv got a bird under the bonnet!!!

Will it run ok?

Hi the nipple on the top of my BOV has snapped! I wont be able to get a replacement till monday however i think iv got a audi tt diverter valve, will this work if i just vent it to atmosphere?

Hi guys, trying to get to the bottom of my uneven idle. Looking at the 3 vac lines from the top of the manifold. One goes to boost solenoid, one to BOV and the other i can't see where it goes, there is a T piece in it. Any ideas?

While checking under the bonnet (pipe is disconected from washers on front bumper) I noticed a blow on the downpipe to turbo gasket, turns out a bolt has snapped turbo side :( could this cause boosting issues?

Cheers savage, the previous owner removed the aircon could it be a pipe for that?

I have found a pipe that isnt connected to anything looks like a boost pipe, it is hanging down on the passenger side. It runs through the front bumper but struggling to see where it goes.

Not sure if this is the right section but... Bought the car2 weeks ago now, had a z4 ecu with some strange chip that no one had seen before, the boost gauge in the car was saying i was getting around 8-9 psi, which i belive to be low. car feels pretty quick but only thing I have to compare with is my old TT so not a great comparison that didnt feel as quick and was pushing 14psi. I have just fitted a gems ecu and it is boosting exactly the same however seems quicker. Faulty gauge? boost leak? The vehicle is fitted with a hks fuel cut defender, could this effect it? i knew i should of bought an unmodified car!

Hi came to my impreza this morning and it was really tough to start voltage on battery is good. Code 31 is coming up. When it eventually started it wouldn't rev, its fine when it gets up to temp any ideas?

no als as far am as i am aware does have a blitzblow off valve though. anything to worry about? what is plod sees me spit flames?

Hey guys Ok so iv had the scooby for aweek now and loving it, I have noticed it pops bangs when over running at around 2k revs, I dont mind this however every now and again it is ridiculously load sounds like a gun shot is this any issue? when driving home tonight(first time in the dark) when ever i got a loud bang I got a massive flash of light as if flames where shooting out the back, just looking to see if this is normal or if i should be worried??

I have a 94 wrx impreza, i am just wondering if this model has the pre-turbo cat in the up pipe? Struggling to find anything with google. everything just refers to the 2001 bug eye. Cheers guys

The casing does have Z4 on the casing, there is a chip, however picture is not clear enough to read the writing on it. I am picking it up from my mechanics tomorrow so will take a closer look tomorrow. Should i run higher octane fuel, will it benifit the vehicl?
