  1. When I picked up the impreza me and the misses had about a 3 hour drive home with it and she said every subaru we go past looks at the car or waves. I didn't really notice but after she said something it seams to be a subaru thing and I am a fan.
  2. Will get quotes for mods and see what is said but hopefully it won't get to silly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Just some wind deflectors but dident get chance to fit them. Also making plans this could get expensive.
  4. The first box of bits showed up today not a big mod but I guess this is how it starts.
  5. Your meant to disclose factory extras as well so I guess they get you that way if you say I didn't know it was a modification, I would expect some wiggle room on small mods. I am sure a splitter or different grill might slip by even the odd spoiler. Also comes down to how you deal with the police when stopped I think. I have been pulled over (38 in a 30) in a polo with some basic visual mods had only been driving about 6-8 months. I just spoke to the police told them what they wanted to know and was sent on my way didn't even look over the car. I see it on road wars all the time people kick off and the police take a longer look at their car.
  6. Insurance love any reason not to pay out. I would think the problem with that guy is he had a rather big mod in the post of facebook it lists other mods like alloys and induction kit. Not sure what the police will let you slide with but I guess we should tell insurance about all mods. Just wondering what people prices have changed when letting insurance know? I did a google and some people went up 10% others went up nothing. I think it's stupid thought if I fit a stainless exhaust it shouldn't put the price up as who wants to replace a blown factory exhaust with another factory one when you get lifetime warranty on most stainless. Whats next if you don't put factory tiers on it will be classed as a mod.
  7. Dam missed out looking forward to the next one even more now.
  8. Nice to see everyone tonight and get some plans for my car.
  9. Thats cool, I just wanted to see. Will try to make it :-D
  10. Who is going to this then? I am going to try and make it but have to see what time I am done with work.
  11. Yer this is getting a little daft. I guess its not the end of the world to get a ticket on the day if it all goes wrong, but should be simple as they want car clubs there and lots of people will not bother if its to complicated.
  12. Fitted a sun strip dident get it perfect due to a few bits of dirt so think I will take it off and might try again when we get some better weather. The matte roof looks amazing :-D I would do mine but not sure it's worth it on a dark grey car.
  13. Just to be more confusing if we want track time how dose that work with the club stand?
  14. Yer that's not overly clear then haha, I should be coming and the misses will be with me in the same car so guess I would need a club ticket for me and a normal one for the misses.
  15. Think I will be able to make this. :-D just need to check for work. Anyone doing track time as well? Is it worth it?
  16. Btw was that you running up Aswell street about 4.45?
  17. Think I can mate it be my first car meet :-D
  18. I would love them but they don't fit so just unlucky I guess :-(
  19. Ok cool shall look at a cat back system seen this one that looks good http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_207&products_id=2114 Also this http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_207&products_id=2063 With http://scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_207&products_id=2070
  20. Is there much advantage to upgrading the mid pipe to 2.5 or 3 inch over the stock 2inch pipe? As I can get a back box for the standard piper for £300 or for an extra £220ish I can upgrade it from cat back to a 3inch system? Thanks Alex
  21. Can only find the PPP kit for the sti so guess they dident make one for the wrx. So will have to pick out a nice backbox and get a remap sorted and see what happens :-D
  22. O so don't fit anyway that's a shame they are very cool hope someone has them.
  23. I really like them but don't have that kinda cash at the moment. :-(
  24. Yer you said about turbos and bits before but even a 30bhp is really good and can then look at turbos when I have more money to spends. So should look for a backbox and filter then getting a remap. Is there anywhere to get the PPP backbox or something similar? Or will most straight through backbox be about the same? Thanks Alex.
