  1. the car has been very good for my 18 months of ownership, but a bit of a problem has developed with the drivers window, sometimes it won't go down when the switch is operated unless i jiggle the front passenger window switch on the drivers side, (sometimes it works without playing with passenger switch) also when the drivers window is closed i can hear it trying to jerk up a bit more every few seconds. the motor seems strong, it does'nt struggle when it does operate, ive tried cleaning the switches with contact cleaner...no difference, so i thought i might check the relay......if it has one.....? could someone tell me it's location please? any other thoughts are welcome.... thanks phil
  2. for all things car audio check the https://www.talkstuff.net/ipb/index.php?app=forums if you want an expensive hobby........it's cost me a small fortune so far!
  3. have you thought about using zymol seal.....it rejuvenates soft rubber seals, ...i used some on my forester door seals with good effect it's about £30 a bottle....
  4. thanks chaps, it's a pleasure to drive, apart from the bearing...ive not driven a subaru before........i might have to chop my volvo in for the turbo version :D
  5. hello all, thought i would say hi, as i have just bought an 03 forester x for the mrs to use around the country lanes. it's on 68k miles with good history........however it has a rear wheel bearing noise....so i'll have to get that sorted. phil
