Oh yeah the snow is ace I live on a steep bank and my forester would fly up it in the snow. My mrs said you will never make it up there lol OH YEAH!! Then i had my toyota lol not a chance it was crap !!! Oh yeah remember the Quattro and the Delta HF Intergale WOW monsters then! Was it the Lancia Stratos or the Martini or something that was super fast being like 500bhp!!! They were uncontrolable like DEATH TRAPS Never been fond of the evo at all but yeah SSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !! They were the best rally years brilliant Ive heard Subaru are re entering with the new one YEAH! Ive been a few times I am going this year to the WRC Wales The last time I went Subaru dropped out car the car just wasnt up to it was gutted thats why I really dont like the 3rd Gen subaru and never will. -

Wow you must have some money to have a collection lol come on lotto Yeah the hawkeye is defo the next one. Repect to you for looking after the bugeye must admit the classic still apeals. Bet a rebuild isnt cheap? Yeah ive been is some clubs but none like this one. This type of people are everywhere !!!! Yes I am a big fan a missed the handling to much even from the forester oh and of course the snow lol I already watch them lol always be a car lover since an early age was a machanic for many years thinking of going back in to it ? Always liked McRae big shame wanted to be a rally driver because of him Was part of a rally pit crew up untill last year with a scooby classic STI import we had that seriously quick!!!! which is why i brought one lol my lady was the Co Driver happy days -
I cant see it being a seized engine as its sat? If you are getting ignition lights and a new battery its not that. The click is the starter ring gear moving out to the flywheel to start. Sound to me like the starter motor has gone or a bad earth Give the start a tap with a rubber or wooden pallet or use block of wood with a hammer. Then try to start it Check the earth cable for breaks also were it connects to the body is not rusted Hope its the starter needs a wack :)

I do agree they sound seized, They need stripping down and a good clean up. Checking the pistons and sliders etc are moving freely then should be fine :) Nothing major but needs sorting soon as this can cause the disk to over heat and worp

I would say it sounds like the bushes to be honest. No really known shockers knock ? Check the condition of the shockers visualy and do the bounce test? Push down on the corner very firmly and release quickly they should go down up then settle if there is mor travel than that the shockers are knackered. Also get someone to follow you and see if they bounce on the road? They shouldnt but again if they do they are knacked if all thats ok i would say its the bushes.
