  1. After disconnecting and recharging the battery, I was able to reset the alarm with the fob so all was well. Thanks to all for the advice Steve
  2. THanks - will try that.
  3. Not yet. Trouble is the the charger overloads after 10 seconds or so and cuts out. Hence asking questions here before I try the jump start idea. :)
  4. My son left his old 1999 Turbo 2000 here a while back and about a month later, asked me to give it a run. Needless to say the battery is flat. No problem, I thought - I'll stick the charger on it for a while. BUT... When I connect the charger, it tries to pull lots of amps and the alarm starts sounding. However I can't clear it with the remote. It may just be that the charger isn't giving enough oomph for that to work or parhaps it isn't as simple as that?? I could jump start it but I thought check here for advice first to see if I have to do anything special. The alarm manual appears to say that if you have a flat battery, contact your dealer!! Any advice appreciated. Thanks Steve
