  2. Compression pressure should be between 142 and 171 and no more than 10 psi difference between all 4
  3. Bad maf witch will then cuse the misfire check the maf hasn't come unplugged if not i would think you will need a new 1

I can buy it http://indigo-gt.com/ecutek-proecu-programming-kit/ but from what iv read you cant just change the map but this is why im confused why can you buy a programing kit and not use it??? as for the apexi i cant find 1 that will work with a 2001 model my only other choice is the link system but thats about 1K

  10. hi guys been looking about and have read that the timing can be put out by the thickness of the head Gaskets, now iv used 1.6mm and was told this is standard for a 1993 wrx by icp so 2 question have come up can it put the timing out that much it wont start and is 1.6mm right
  11. still ruining a maf based map atm with the stranded injectors as for letting the plugs dry iv not yet so will pop them out tomorrow and leave it alone and so do i, i love the car and tbh it's way to different to any of the rest so dont want anything else and my brain has terned to mush haha

Does it smell of fuel a lot when cranking ? = yes but only out the back end and it is getting fuel today it almost started on first tern over but the will only fire on the odd occasion when repetitive cranking Nipped a injector o ring, maybe ? = never removed them Tps and both temp sensors making a good connection? checked my esl dater and temp today was 11c and tps was at 6.5 and when fully open 78. Not adjusted the icv or tps , while stripping it down ? = both of these where not touched Thanks for your help btw

  15. looks like iv got 2 dead coil packs

It dose have 2 maps and both of them are working maps i also have got a standard ecu and have already tryed that so i dont think is my ecu As for fual pressure the car was stinking of fual and i also removed the plugs and thay where soked so clean them and put them back Iv checked all the vac lines and it doesn't seem to be them I have a feeling that 1 of the crank or cam sensor is faulty but unsure wich atm so need to get an oscilloscope to find out thanks for all the ideas thow guys Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  17. Its got the new age conversion and iv checked to lines from the ecu to the packs and its all ok Alarm is my own fitment and never used the immobiliser on it Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
  18. Yes ecu still has power after first crank iv check the residence at the crank and cam sensor at the ecu and thay have definitely got a good connection Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk

  21. Iv got a ecu with a esl bord on and also a standard ecu they both do the same, the esl software is the only type of live monitoring i have that shows rpm when cranking to be 150 Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk
