WRX Bugeye Wagon
Unfortunately I'm going to have to give up my stunning Scooby already! Only owned the car a month but due to personal circumstances I'm having to list it for sale. It's an 01 bugeye WRX wagon, mileage is 107,152. Only just changed oil & filter on it yesterday, and only done about 500 miles in it. No part ex or breaking parts, £2,750 & open to sensible offers.

Scooby World
What biccies in particular? 😂 A lot. Not all immediately though, first things first brakes & suspension. Brakes I'm getting sorted by a specialist here down in Wales, but I go to uni in Nottingham, and I'll be back there September. Suspension & everything after that will be done mostly up north.. Definitely swaying towards SSS at the moment. Hoping to get suspension & small power gains (mainly more torque in low & mid range RPM)/replace parts coming towards the end of their life done before Christmas really. A stage 1 map is probably gonna be done within the next 6 months.

Scooby World in Lincolnshire, what's the general consensus on these guys? Throw up between these guys & Sheffield Subaru Service for a hefty amount of work on my Scooby.

Suspension upgrade
Hi all The time has come for me to consider replacing the original suspension, question is, what does everyone recommended? I don't want to sacrifice ride height if possible, or if I have to, as little as I can get away with. Adjustable coilovers are obviously the way to go, but they're also very expensive! I've heard about the prodrive suspension but would they be suitable? I have an 01 bugeye WRX wagon.

A lot of people have said the dodo wax, I've just ordered some on eBay myself! Looking at the idea of ultimate compound too, for £12.49 you can't go wrong really.

Possible upgrades

South Wales / Nottingham subaru specialist
Hi all Can anyone recommend a Subaru specialist in South Wales or Nottingham area for an MOT, and any work in terms of modifications etc!
-
Possible upgrades
That helps a lot mate! Looking for an MOT tester who is also a Subaru specialist, but I put a separate post up for that 😊 keeping the stock turbo for the time being, as I'd rather get the suspension/control arms replaced & uprated first, in order to make sure the power can actually be handled! But the centre pipe definitely sounds like a good place to start 👍

Possible upgrades
So, the time has come (not long!) for me to seriously think about a few modifications! Going to start off with the brake discs/pads & 4 wheel alignment.. What do people recommended for discs & pads? Secondly, in terms of power modifications, what's the first few things to upgrade? Re map straight away? Or is there other things that need doing first? Already got a prodrive back box an STi intercooler. The car is a bugeye WRX wagon.

Engine management light flash
Literally just ordered one on eBay mate!

Engine management light flash
Cheers for the response guys, my immediate thought was the 02 sensor or dodgy spark plug! Will be getting it in the garage asap.
-
Engine management light flash
Will do as soon as I get the chance mate, any idea what it could be? From past experience maybe? Like I said I've not been a Scooby owner long, so I'm just really confused why it flashed for a bit then went off.

Engine management light flash
Hi all! Brought my first Scooby about three weeks back, and I fell in love with it straight away! It's a bugeye WRX wagon. The car is completely standard bar a prodrive Backbox & an STi intercooler. Cambelt, tensioner & pulley was done 2k ago. Yesterday I accelerated hard in 4th, and when I got to about 80, the engine management light flashed on/off for about 10 seconds.. It's not come on since & the car drives fine. I'm completely bamboozled! The boost reading was normal, any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated, as I'm not able to get it in to a garage till next week.
