Hi everyone just a quick question. How can I tell which rear diff my car has and the best oil for it. I'm stuck as I don't know if mine is LSD. Cheers peeps

Hi everyone as you can see from my profile I have a 1996 v-limited import 65/1000. I'm in need of some advice regarding the power steering pump. I've had 2 second hand pumps fail now so it's bout time I sorted the problem proply. Just wanting to know if anyone knows where I can get new pump or maybe upgrade to a newer model so I don't come across this problem again? I also want to refurb my rear diff with new gaskets etc but I'm unsure which diff my car has. Either 160 or 180??? Cheers fellow Subaru addicts

My current v-limited 65/1000 and my previous Acropolis rally edition 62/100.

I've noticed small bubble on rear arches so that will be first addressed. As I say I'll inspect inner arches with more detail when I remove some panels. Jus passed mot couple weeks ago and tester said it was very clean for classic 👍🏻 Front cross member is sound so that's great help. I'll also be checking rear suspension turrets as I didn't know bout that 😮 It's good to know there are plenty folk out there to give some advice. I'll be needing plenty 😂

Thanks for the warm welcome. I think I'm prepared for the "project creep" 😮 I'm in the process of finding enough funds to tackle the rot that may or may not be lurking. Going to remove bumpers etc over winter and see where I stand. If anybody has any pointers or tips for me to check or inspect closer I'll be more than grateful for the advice 👍🏻
