new rads in runs good looks like no engine damage. bed is now calling after starting work at 6 Sunday night. mind u I'm fairly awake with only 1hours nap today but doubt I be dead to the world tonight lol

the best way I can describe my car is as this. it's like a teenager, u give it life, help it along, buy it nice things and then it kicks u in the balls on return. lol still bored :(

result. I showed a m8 who has a pro drive wrx and we noticed the bolts for the turbo had come loose. them now tightened once again it pulls like a train. hopefully they won't keep coming loose

myself I use a snap-on ethos tester. not cheap but able to diagnose any system on the car and monitor the ecu datas. although now I'm getting disheartened with my impreza. Iv now lost power above 4000rpm, could this be caused by the P0031 fault. or because my gasket from turbo to cat pipe decided to start blowing this morning. any idea guys as I'm really starting to loose hope with it

thanks for that gambit, I shall do some more testing on it. maybe run it with the tester in see what the sensors are doing

just after some ideas, Iv got code P0420 keep reapearing catalist inefficiency threshold bank 1. but it comes on randomly sometimes after 10mins of driving or doesn't come up atall on journeys. could this be due to the de-cat exhaust or is it a sensor on it's way out?

Does anyone know how to release the clutch fork from the thrust bearing? Is it a case of just pushing it towards the rear of the car to pop it off once the slave cylinder is taken off? Or is it more complex?

only reason really is Iv been offered one by a lad at work. but my gut instinct was to stuck with the original as the car is set up to run that turbo. thanks for your help there m8 much appreciated

I have a 2002 2.0 turbo impretza, I going to replace the engine with a recon standard engine, the turbo currently is a td05. is the standard engine capable of this turbo or should I source a td04? any help would be much appreciated
