I just wanted to check if all classic bonnets are the same. I have a RA but the bonnet is not aluminium. Going to look at a aluminium one but seller not sure what model year it came off. Can the hardware for the intercooler water spray be just swapped over?

Hi All, I am looking for a set of tyres for my Classic which has 16' standard alloys. Currently it has 215/45/16 on it but seems like a oddball size What recommend for this size alloy

Hi All, Im looking to add Gauges above the single din radio. There is only 42mm height available as there is a cup holder above that. Is there any options or what have people done, I want to keep it looking stock so Dash or Pillar mounts are just not my thing.

Hi all, Assume this is possible. want to fit the V6 STI bumber on a V4 STI and change the lights to the face lift version (Crystals?) Is it possible to change the instruments to the facelift, like the look of a center rev counter (My Diesel Leon has this lol) Thanks Vince

Which version did Gen 2 kick In? Must check the insurance suitation again, thanks for reminding me. I did hear that some insurance companies where not covering one less than 20year old

Why is the V1/2 the most desirable, the V6 I have to discount as would be too new. has to be over 20 years for classic ins.

I looked at a STI on Sunday and the price was cheap 2,300 Euro but god was it rough. I didn't even bother to drive it as with the rust and the bodging of wires in the engine bay I has seen enough. I kinda knew before I looked at it. Only had 2 MOT in since 2006.

A Sti salon for 2.5 to 3k Where would be the best place to look for one. Was looking on Gumtree and ebay do far.

Well I'm currently saving as the Sti is a bit more than what I originally had in mind. I am keeping an eye on whats available in the UK and Japan and see what happens. Is the Type R that much better than the STI V3-4?

Hello from Ireland, I am currently saving up for a 1996-1997 Impreza WRX STI (Maybe a Type R) as standard as possible. I started thinking about getting one a few months ago when I seen the value to be had. First was looking at the UK model, then the WRX and now decided I really should get a STI. With the issues that Im seeing with Rust on UK imports Im thinking of getting one direct from Japan. I want something that has been well looked after. Anyway back to saving........
