It is a great car and very quick! It is considerably lower geared than my WRX and witht he extra torque it is perfect for the b roads I drive on. Great car, very pleased.

2002 WRX Wagon For Sale - Un modified
Yeah I know its a bit steep but wanted to test the water as its not modified in any way. When I was looking it took me 6 months to find one that didnt have a huge tail pipe on it and various air filters etc. Happy to take a hit on the price but wanted to see what was what. Thanks for the feedback, might leave it this week then roll it back a bit next week.

Yep, here you go! It does have a slighty funeral vibe about it but I have never consider this car for its looks more for what it can do....a true all rounder and I love it

2002 WRX Wagon For Sale - Un modified
Hi All It is with a heavy heart I am selling my WRX Bug Eye Wagon. Though Im very pleased with my new Fozzy so that has helped! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201704184537642?make=SUBARU&advertising-location=at_cars&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly New&onesearchad=New&postcode=bn84lp&price-to=4000&radius=1500&zero-to-60=TO_8&sort=sponsored&model=IMPREZA&price-from=3500&page=1 It is totally standard apart from a new stereo and I think thats fairly rare these days. I would appreciate any feedback on the ad or price to be honest. I know this is a nice forum so happy to take peoples pointers.

New Fozzy Owner
Hi All I have been lurking on here for a while as a Bug WRX Wagon owner but that is now up for sale and I have just picked up a lovely 2007 XT PPP which was apprently fitted by the guy who invented it at Prodrive...am confirming details on that one! So far so good, handling a little more sloppy as expected but it pulls like a train and the added creature comforts are very nice!

XT and XTen Spec and EJ255-257
OK that puts further confusion on ha ha. Does Mr B know if the post facelift is the more powerful engine though? are there any other factors involved?
-
XT and XTen Spec and EJ255-257
The blue one is clearly post facelift and as such I would guess has the 257 engine and the extra few horse power too.

XT and XTen Spec and EJ255-257
Here are the two im looking at...they have different grilles so one is a facelift and probably the newer engine...but which one? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201702252679845?maximum-mileage=80000&model=FORESTER&transmission=Manual&radius=1500&keywords=XT&make=SUBARU&postcode=bn84lp&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&sort=price-asc&advertising-location=at_cars&page=1 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201702011874790?advertising-location=at_cars&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&make=SUBARU&keywords=XTen&radius=1500&model=FORESTER&maximum-mileage=100000&sort=price-asc&postcode=bn84lp&transmission=Manual&page=1

XT and XTen Spec and EJ255-257
Right the owner has got back and it has the EJ255 not the 257. Now i need a Fozzy geek to help me out here and let me know if the compression was changed for the 257 and so making it the faster engine? Its a 2006 car but clearly running the older engine as I suspected.

XT and XTen Spec and EJ255-257
Thanks, this is the 2.0 I will be going for the 2.5 which should be around 5.7 0-60 which is the same as my wagon. What i was after here is someone who knew the difference between the 2 specs and the key things to look out for to tell what engine model it was. Now I just want an STI ha ha

XT and XTen Spec and EJ255-257
Ha ha....they do look amazing. What are the stock stats like?
-
XT and XTen Spec and EJ255-257
I dont think I can even slightly afford an STI so looking at about £5000 for an XT
-
XT and XTen Spec and EJ255-257
I was hoping so. It's a big step to move away from the Impreza but I need a bit more space and something a bit more suited to bikes, kayaks and kids...but with lots of power! I hear they understeer a bit but I can live with that. I just dont want to get a slower engine through something as silly as not checking the specs.
