Limbo

Looking for bit guidance on rear upper control arm ball joints. Mot just been and been advised one has slight play. Been trying to find replacments but cant find ball joints or an entire control arm available. Anyone able to tell me if the ball joints are removable from the arm itself? Im guessing they are pressed in and c clipped? If so where am i likely to be able to get some? Im sure they must be the same on another model but i just cant find anything anywhere.

So im getting a bit frustrated with this need to replace rear pipe and backbox as the flanges are looking a bit fubar. Been searching ebay and everywhere i can find. But have only found one place that offers a exhaust that close to what is currently fitted https://www.ferrita.com/en/products/car/stainless-exhaust/subaru/legacy-outback/subaru-outback-br-20d-150hk-awd-brd Only difference is it stainless and the pipes are clamped instead of flanges. Everywhere else i look is matching back with twin back box setups and a mid silencer which im pretty sure would be hit by the propshaft if there as any movement in the system. Anyone please if you can advise on somewhere to supply what im looking for or even confirm if my car should actually have the twin box system on ( dont think should as all twin systems i seen dont have the support fitting for the middle rubbers). All else fails may see if find good welder to cut flangea off and weld on new one i guess

Had this issue few months back pop the back of the mirror off so you can see the motor. In my case a little clip that holds the motor inplace had snapped. Causing the motor to rise itself in the mirror instead of folding the mirror. Didnt want to payout for new one so simply super glued the motor in place.

All sorted now i didnt realise the fuse did the seats aswell so put it back in and hey presto back up and running... then had the mirror issue. Solved this buy poping the back cover off the mirror. To find a small plastic clip that holds the motor down in position had snapped off. This was resulting in the motor moving up about half cm everytime opened them, so the motor just spun making the horrid sound. Simple fix and cheap was a bit of very good superglue around the edge of motor and the housing it sits in.

Have had my outback for two year and never had an issue untill this week. I have the passenger wing mirror motor sounding like a growling dog when opening the mirrors up. But the worst is my heated seata have just stopped working, no heat no lights on switches on cwnter console. The 15A fuse in driver footwell is good, i cannot locate any other fuse that is in this circuit. Is there a relay in the circuit? If so any help with as to where it is located/discription and how to possibly test its operation?
