    Happy Birthday Rod1!

  2. Will do. Need my impreza first :( Getting so impatient!
  3. I've just had a look and all the gear for a full service and cambelt is only 350-400. Bargain!
  4. Cheers for the advice and links. Are the cam belt tensioners auto adjusting on the impreza?
  5. Can anyone recommend a good supplier for subaru parts? When I (finally) find one, I'll be doing a full service inc gearbox oil, timing belt, water pump, oil, filters, plugs, leads etc. Where's best to get the bits?
  6. I dare say this has been asked before but I'm new so you might let me get away with it ;) What should I look out for when buying my first Impreza? I'm trying to get as much knowledge as possible so I don't buy a dog. Does anyone have a buying guide link or anything that would be useful? Cheers guys
  7. Not got the cash yet I'm afraid. Gotta wait a couple of pay days because just shelled out for home renovations. Such a shame he's breaking her :(
  8. Just checked the link out and that's a he'll of a lot of car for 1500!
  9. I'm not 100% struck on the wagon. I prefer the look of the saloon. But it's definitely something to consider.
  10. Not a clue pal. I'm new to the forum and subaru in general. Been more involved with the VAG crowd but I'm afraid it's very cliquey (if that's spelt correctly) you go to a local meet and unless you already know them most aren't interested
  11. I've got a budget of 2000-2500 would that get me in a wrx wagon? I'd rather get a good UK spec than an OK wrx. I'm quite wary as I know the impreza has a reputation of being thrashed.
  12. Ilkeston, Derby MK4 GTi turbo (not got my subaru yet)
  13. Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I'm after a 1998 on UK turbo for a couple of reasons, firstly, I like to tinker with my cars.... A lot. Lol. And if I got a higher spec STi/WRX I'd feel bad about ripping the engine out. Secondly my insurance would jump from around 400 to closer to 1000 which is more than I want to pay.
