rear diff light and battery light

Hello all

help please, our dash lights our showing r diff temp, (? check rear diff oil we think ) but the Battery light is on  also as well? nothing in the hand book !   as its a bank holiday weekend cant get her into a garage,  any advise ?

fixed it ..a belt had snapped ?  thanfully our son in law was able to replace it.
