Gambit Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Hi mate sorry just replied to your PM as I said in the PM I think will be Head gasket
Jay762 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Agree with Gambit - that is the most likely cause, when it is apart you will have to check for any warpage of the head
Foreman Posted May 26, 2013 Author Posted May 26, 2013 can my anyone tell how i need markt timing belt
Jay762 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 The timing belts will have to come off in order to remove the heads and get to the gaskets, there will be marks on the pulleys which will have to be in a set position when the belt is put back on. If you want to you could use a dab of white paint to mark belt position in relation to pulley.
Jay762 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Here is a diagram showing alignment example of SOHC And one with DOHC 2
steve33 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 if in doubt ,get sniff test,to verify ,think its about 10gbp,one wway to find out ,if head gasket, for sure, but those guys above me,know there stuff :0) 1
