December 4, 201411 yr Hi all As the title says, I'm looking for a standard Spec B 3.0 Legacy estate of 2005 / early 2006 registration so it's in the lower tax band (£285 odd per year, not £500 odd). Needs to be manual, and with a good service history - ideally big bits like clutch and exhaust done. Ideally in the South West, but may travel for the right car. Budget is maybe £4,000 - but could possibly go a bit higher for something that's worth it. I don't mind reasonably high mileage as long as it's been cared for. I'm looking in all the usual places (pistonheads, ebay, autotrader, here) but just wondering if anyone has one they're thinking of selling. I'm in no drastic hurry. Any cars or thoughts, please let me know? Cheers.
February 12, 201510 yr Hi I have a 2005 B spec tourer in black, low tax group. Due to a company car I don't use much now a days, It's a manual with all the extras , sat nav ,panaramic roof , FSH. One previous owner, I've owned her for 8 years and had exhaust, clutch and new discs. At 125k she still drives the same as when I got her at 42k. It does have some car park dents that I have had a quote for £500 to do, i was looking for £3000 ono but I do live in Essex a bit of a trek for you. If you are interested I can send some photos. MOT till November , brand new tow bar fitted but never used, even have a genuine Subaru locking roof bars, and a brand new battery in January. Best car I've ever had, just don't want to see her sitting around. Regards.

February 26, 201510 yr That's great. Thanks. I'm in Bristol so not that near but I visit London a fair bit so it's not a problem visiting you. Besides I already own a legacy so I know I love them. Just want a manual with more power. Plan to convert to lpg but have to investigate whether the known problem with valve recession can be eliminated with Flashlube fitted. Cheers
February 26, 201510 yr 2004 mk4 sportwagon 2.5 se auto on lpg. It's great... But a bit tatty and sluggish with the lpg/auto combination

February 28, 201510 yr Author Hi Paul. Did it have the full major service at 120k miles? Spark plugs, coolant change, new brake fluid, transmission fluids etc. Also, when (time and mileage) was the most recent service done? Thank you.
February 28, 201510 yr I have the full service history with the car, the guy that does it is a BMW specialist and does everything to the book, I will check with him what was done, I'm sure it's the full one, but not sure. I mentioned that it was MOTd in November, it was actually December. Regards Paul.
