Hi guys, problem with my drivers side window, it wont go up or down, tried changing switches with my friends scooby, (all the other windows worked apart from the drivers side) narrowed it down to the motor being at fault. So my question is has anyone changed their motor/regulator and is there any hints and tricks you have?

Its not to hard few screw and bolts and tbh its a common fault on most scoobs, they dont usually fail though, just get really slow, have you checked the earth and fuses before you rip it all out

It seemed to be a bit of a intermittent fault over the past few weeks, some days it would work fine and other days you could press the buton and 5 seconds later then it works, borrowing a volt meter tomorrow just to see how much power is going to the motor

It was the motor, had a new one delivered for 40 quid and fitted it 2 hours later, not the most difficult job In the world just a bit fiddly
