Simonaskey Posted January 19, 2015 Share Posted January 19, 2015 Hello all... the wife's Outback 2.5i has gone tech... oil light on, then died... and we've not been able to start it since... I've flashed the starter... just a whirling, so it's not engaging... then popped a socket and bar on the crank nut ... and, well, it's knackered... can put my whole weight on it without moving... Can I have some recommendations on specialist to rebuild the engine (120k)?... I'm based in Bristol and only just started looking around... had one quote already of £1,500 plus VAT and the fluids... seems a little spendy but hey... if that's what it is... thanks on advance Si Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
