Radio/satnav system locked after battery replacement

I've just replaced the Battery, and my radio/satnav screen now is black with 'security' written across it. My dealership says I have to get this reset at teh dealer - of course! - does anyone have any other ways to reset? thanks

I was about to ask the same question but I think you have answered it !! Trouble is mine turned itself off while driving and is still playing a CD but I cannot turn the volume down!!....................:)
