findo Posted June 15, 2013 Share Posted June 15, 2013 Hi, new to this forum, recently bought a 56 plate 2.5 XT Forester after selling my 98 2.5 legacy and after adding cataclean to fuel error code P2444 has appear. Gambit Posted June 15, 2013 Share Posted June 15, 2013 Hi mate welcome to the forums I would clear the error code 1st see if it returns if you have not done so already, check all your fuses just to be safe I doubt it will be but it's covered :) and relays which is possible. and as I'm sure you have read already what the fault is bur here it is again :D P2444 Secondary AIR System Pump Stuck OnPossible Causes* Check the operation of the secondary AIR pump relay*Check the secondary AIR pump relay for a short to ground condition* AIR combination valve has failed* PCMhas failedSetting ConditionsEngine running; Secondary AIR system active, and the PCMdetected a problem in the operation of the Secondary AIR Pump (it may be stuck "on").This code sets in 1 Trip(s).This code will turn on the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
