Spec:
3" turbo back exhaust with open bellmouth.
Cosworth panel filter.
Bailey bov.
Scoobyworx 255lph fuel pump upgrade.
Hks turbo timer.
Mtec drilled and grooved discs with mintex fast road pads.
STI strut brace.
D1 sports weighted shifter.
Open source tune up by Dynotune to suit current spec with Delta dash road dyno printout running 225bhp/253lbsft @ the wheels (calculates to approx. 279bhp/316lbsft @ flywheel)

In the last 2 yrs the car has had the following maintenance carried out:

NSR genuine Kyb shock absorber.
NSR genuine Subaru wheel bearing.
Discs and pads all round.
4 x tyres all round (Avon brand)
Brake caliper refurbishment.

Car is in fantastic condition for being 10yrs old. The odd age related mark but nothing major. Immaculate on the inside with original WRX300 series floor mats. Never been smoked in and regularly valeted.

Pulls hard in all gears, turbo boosts perfect, no smoke or knocks/bangs from warm and cold. Always allowed to warm before driven on boost and always allowed to cool before switching off.

Car benefits from having an alpine 6cd changer and also has tinted rear windows.

Standard genuine prodrive exhaust is included in the sale should the new owner like to return the current system to standard. Also have uprated goodridge brake lines and a decat up-pipe included in the sale, never got around to fitting these items.

Car is on a 05 plate but private plate included in sale, has been on the car since new

Priced for quick sale, the same model with similar spec and mileage is for sale on ebay for over 7k.

Open to negotiations, must go soon as new car has arrived.

Make me an offer..... the worst i can say is no.

Car is available to view either at my home address or at John Hastie & Son Garage in Prestonpans, East Lothian. The garage is a 5min walk from the train station so good transport links if not travelling by car.

I've decided to go for more of a comfy cruiser so went back to VAG and got myself a VW Scirocco 2.0 TSI.

its nice having some creature comforts again, loved every minute of owning the scooby and its rawness, but thats been just short of 2 years of ownership and fancied a change, something a little more grown up you might say.

really will be sad to see her move on but i am starting to rack the miles up a little so need something a bit lighter on my wallet plus don't want to ruin the scooby by chucking the mileage on it.

do see myself owning another one a few years down the line, maybe a nice classic.

going to update my owners thread so everything is up to date and any potential interested parties on her can view her 2 years of ownership.

ahh I see - it is certainly something to be considered when you are covering a lot of miles on a day to day basis. Keep us posted on the classic and dont be a stranger :)

It may be over his budget but why not drop this chap a pm who wanted a scooby, maybe a deal can be done??

trying to find his wanted post - cant at the mo will have a look later
