Is it as simple as getting a flat blade and popping out or are they attached somewhere?

Don't want to have a go and break or damage the paint

If it's anything like the impreza, you push it towards the back of the car (or front, it will move when you have the right way). Then with that pressure applied your should be able to pop it out.

Excellent cheers mate, mine uses the same shape as bug eye so I guess they aren't sealed bulb units, of they are does the whole lot come out of the wing ?

You pop it off and the wiring comes out with it, there is a plug on the back you can unclip to separate the wiring from the holder. To access the bulb you twist the holder (bit the wiring plugged into) and it comes out.

Thought as much just didn't want to fook it up and get angry with myself, I'll have a look when I get back to work
