Yesterday I brought my Subaru Sti and its all factory standard under the bonnet, I'm looking to upgrade the air filter, any preferences on what brands to use and stay clear of?

I've always used K&N and never had any issues at all. Saying that I did just put a Pro-R (read PiperCross) in my 14 STi while its under warranty. Other good options from the past are AEM and ITG if I remember correctly.

I have a cosworth panel filter in my classic. Try to avoid any that have oil in them.

I've got a pro r filter in my bugeye.

its in the standard housing, which i will send to you, that way it doesnt get damaged and you can just attach it to your existing maf
