  1. Wondered where this post was. Welcome to mod team Tidgy.
  2. Ah shame. Keep an eye out. Some good examples out and about.
  3. I'm on 178k miles. I service every 3k or sooner depends on time since last service and what I want to do with it. If it's looked after, it'll do you well.
  4. I had mine mapped at roughly 160k miles. Had no issues. Keep it looked after with regular servicing and don't treat it like a shitbox.
  5. What's made the change of heart?
  6. Do you have a print out of the alignment?
  7. Put it on a 4 wheel alignment gadget. Does the rear have camber bolts?
  8. Which model is this for?
  9. Apparently the extra space can stress wheel bearings and they go prematurely. Only based on internet research. I haven't had first hand experience with them
  10. Have you considered getting the whole car wrapped?
  11. Have you tried a different radio? May be an issue with the RCA sockets.
  12. What car is it for? I have a 4-1 gauge that shows boost, oil temp, oil pressure and voltage. Been in the car almost two years now. Sits in a single pod at the bottom of the driver's pillar. I'll dig out a picture.
  13. Could do with some more information. Does it do it at particular times? What car is it?
  14. Sorry I'm late to the party. My classic started running extremely rich. It bore washed and the oil was very thin. Fortunately I did go for a Dyno when noticing something untoward. The afr was so rich it was off the scale. Turned out to be the MAF. I switched that and had it mapped again. All good since. For the cost of a Dyno, I'd say go get it checked atleast. Keep an eye on your oil and if it's smoking, I wonder if your oil is already thinned and seeping past seals. The end result is a lot more costly than a diagnostic Dyno and possible remap.
  15. Ha I think all insurers are the same. When it comes to paying out they'd all rather do you over than pay out. Never mind you've been paying £500/yr for the past 6yrs with them.
  16. Does it start with k and end with eith Michaels? Have been previously insured by them. By not saying anything at all about them I also agree with what you say. I am currently insured with flux though, rather worrying.
  17. If not done for 2 years I'd say it's more than likely a plug issue.
  18. When were the spark plugs last changed?
  19. Heartbreaking [emoji25] Good news you're all alright. Hopefully the other motor was insured and legal.
  20. Has it been converted to Miles on the odometer, if so, when?
  21. Bit of luck, not only would it cost an arm and a leg in travel but you'd need to sell your house to cover the cost of all the work clinic find your car "needs" doing. Let alone leaving it with them. Have a Google for what they did to another chaps Impreza. Short story, they deliberatly hit potholes to cause damage as video footage proves. Then threatened him with legal action after going public. They mugged him off and ate humble pie for it.
  22. Go to a few test stations in person. Ask for a friendly mot. They might send you packing or they'll help you out.
  23. Good to hear you had a pleasant experience. Duncan has mapped my car twice over the 3 years I've owned it and at 178k miles it's still going strong.
