Hi, we have Subaru Outback and don't seem to be able to use a car cassete adaptor with it (to connect to the ipod) - see link below.

 

Is the car not compatible with these devices? Normal cassete tapes play all right...but as soon as I insert this one, it ejects it after a few seconds. Thanks!

I bought a Belkin cassette adaptor from Maplins last week for the same use. Put it in, kept on ejecting. Switched on the radio/selected tape, connected my mp3 player to the mini-jack, inserted the adaptor cassette and it stayed in, worked fine.
