I have decided to go ahead and respray my classic mean eye impreza i am going to completely modernize the car to make it look new including the new subaru badges , i want to spray it black as i think it will go really well with the red leather interior but i am one of those people who wants my car to always look immaculate and I've heard black is such a hard colour to maintain but does it really look that bad? any black scooby owners want to give me some tips that would be great

 

also any more ideas on how to modernize the car would be great  , thanks 

Black is harder to keep clean yes, as long as you keep on top of it, little and often is what i do, also shows swirl marks very easily, so always be gently, but once clean etc black does look good.

Agree with Consti, keep on top of it and it's not a problem, make sure you use a good wax and most of the dirt just falls off.... and it is the best colour ;)

cheers for the help , things didn't go to well when it had a checkup so the money will instead be spent elsewhere sadly
