as title says

great thump going into 3rd gear auto transmission

always hard to describe symptoms

but car going up from 2nd to 3rd gear either in d or sport or using manual trip is a massive thump

sometimes high revs and when i back off the throttle a little it slams into gear

at oil level is fine...

i left Battery disconnected overnight and it seem to go away for  a while....short while

anyone any insight or similiar experience?
