gazza-wrx Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Getting a screeching noise when reversing. Had new discs and pads on the rear so its not them. Had the car serviced recently and said the front discs and pads were fine. Any ideas?
Gambit Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Is it from the front of the car ? I would maybe go with the power steering belt if it is :)
Miggs Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Just in reverse? Where is the noise from roughly, front, middle or back? Have the brakes bedded in? How many miles have you done since they were fitted? When was the rear different last serviced?
Scooby Pete Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 did they change the handbrake shoes in the rear drum or just the pads on the disc?
Exup1000 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Like miggs said.it Could be pads, mine we recently changed and their still not fully bedded in Ps miggs that little insect on your screen is freaky, i keep seeing it out the corner of my eye
Miggs Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I've had it on a few forums and had some people chasing it thinking it was on the screen lol
