Does anyone know where I might be able to get keys and fobs programmed to my subaru?

Can get them off ebay or Subaru that I know of but mainstealers will be big cash. But should be able to program them yourself with a working key fob or the code for the key pad. On phone at the minute but I have a download link for a pdf guide.

I also need a new battery replacement in my key remote control; and possibly a spare key; as one of my key's is damaged.   what would it cost at a dealership to have a new battery put in the remote; any ideas of the possible cost?

 

If it's the same m30 alarm system you simply turn the back of it and it opens. Is yours an m30 fob? If so easy to do.

My remote is part of the key itself; "Alpha Corp  COJ12."    not sure what that means?   I'm thinking it may need to be done by a dealer?

Update for everyone on the Key's  .  New battery for key at Main Dealer = £6-00    For a new Key = £300 - 00  Told me it has to be programmed etc..   

 

Pop a picture of your key and fob up.

My keys are like this one on eBay ..  this company repairs your own keys..

You can buy batteries for these for less than £2 for quality duracell long life (CR1620 I believe)

Quite easy program other fobs yourself if need, no special equipment needed .

You can also actually use subaru 2 button fob seperate from key & any decent auto locksmith can cut key & sort key transponder.

ebay service on remote good if remote buttons or board bad & fair price.

Key blade itself can be done too, locksmith can cut key & modify it to fit the fob part, not many will offer that service though. I done one for a customer, cut key blade was £14 & I charged 1 hrs labour for running about & customizing key into original key handle fob .

£300 for new key is crazy money ...
