Where to Find Radio Codes?

Recommended Posts

When disconnecting your car battery; then reconnecting it, do you need the wireless (Radio) code to get the radio working again?   if so; where do you find the code for the radio?

Reminds me of when I bought a new Nissan Bluebird turbo, and had no code (not in dealer pack). Mentioned it in the pub, and was told, by a person (known to deal in car radios!!!), that you could reset a radio, by leaving it in the freezer overnight, and putting in any code you wanted, next day. Needless to say, I got in touch with Nissan, gave them the vin number, and they gave me the code.
