How (un)safe will be?

Hi all. I just bought a VF35 and Hawk STI injectors to fit to my blob wrx. I will probably do it over the weekend but then I would have to drive it to Scoobyclinic for map adjustment on Monday morning. Question is how un/safe will that be? I'm about 40 miles away and would obviously keep it below 2.5k rpm. Thanks

speak to clinic mate, keeping it off boost will be ok with the turbo but injectors may be too much.

Just phoned them and that's what they said. No problem with turbo but injectors are too much. Need to think now. Don't really want to pay twice for map adjustment plus it's 80 mile drive for me each time...

Yeah, I probably won't have much choice. It should take them 2-3 hours to fit so 2-3 hours of labour will be cheaper than another 80mile trip + second map adjustment.

Right, just sent them an email. Will see what they say. I wonder to be honest will I actually need them injectors. All I want to do is get as close to 300hp as I can and that's it...

Should get to 300 on the standard ones. May need a fuel pump though

Just got a reply. Apparently I will need them injectors with VF35 so got it booked in for Monday to fit them and new map. Will see how it goes :)
