Just want to know what the normal engine oil used in the 2.0 litre turbo is.reason I ask is that I just picked up my cambelt kit, and I thought I'd get the oil/ filter while I was there and the dude gave me 10w 60 ?

fully synthetic is best, in the warmer months 10/60 is fine, in colder weather 5/40 is best, if you service every 6 months then just alternate the 2 oils through the year, semi synthetic is ok but i would try and get fully in as often as possible

I use 10W-50 Full synth for all year round but it is a named brand and says its an all year round oil and used in race cars. So with having mods ticks all my boxes :) Had no problems at all have used it for years
