Exup1000 Posted July 25, 2013 Share Posted July 25, 2013 Just want to know what the normal engine oil used in the 2.0 litre turbo is.reason I ask is that I just picked up my cambelt kit, and I thought I'd get the oil/ filter while I was there and the dude gave me 10w 60 ? Miggs Posted July 25, 2013 Share Posted July 25, 2013 fully synthetic is best, in the warmer months 10/60 is fine, in colder weather 5/40 is best, if you service every 6 months then just alternate the 2 oils through the year, semi synthetic is ok but i would try and get fully in as often as possible Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gambit Posted July 25, 2013 Share Posted July 25, 2013 I use 10W-50 Full synth for all year round but it is a named brand and says its an all year round oil and used in race cars.
