Ok so I get my 2004 blob eye wrx back in next few days after having a 2nd hand engine and turbo (from grade a) installed.

Old engine big end bearing gone unknown as to full extent of damage caused.

So what do I do with my old engine and turbo?!

Keep it as a project. Slowly add bits and turn it into an animal. Strip it down to find the real damage and weigh up the potential. It'll only have cost you a few hours that way.
