OK so I have looked into my car a bit and found I have a TD04L turbo. However the standard ecu I have on car is mapped for a VF22. Is this gonna be a massive issue? I do plan on a new turbo and remap in future but didn't want to spend a fortune just yet.

Not really the vf has more top end where as the 04 will run out of puff around 270 bhp &4.5k

The vf will see bigger numbers but slower spool, if you your looking at upgrades in the future a vf34 would be a good upgrade
