If it's tint film, you should be fine with normal glass cleaner and a soft rag. Only time I could see a problem if it was seriously cheap tissue grade film or if it's not fitted correctly (peeling at the edges or wrinkles or bubble) where it might catch

As said above I use microfiber cloth. I use that rain x stuff on the outside after I've washed the car and just wipe the inside at the same time that seems to work fine for me. I've had the kids wipe chocolate on one of the windows never had a problem  with normal glass cleaner either :)
