Moss
Today I pulled the bonnet catch on my 2002 Outback and nothing happened . I've tried pushing down; lifting up; giving it a tap; and pushing the outside lever through the grill. !Removed! thing won't budge. Can anyone help? Does anyone have a sensible suggestion to release the hood? Help Please.
aucky
have you had a feel behind the leaver in the car,is the cable still attached to it
aucky
if its still attached then grab cable with some pliers and give it a tug, could have come loose or streached and leaver not pulling it far enough to open bonnet.
Moss
Yep, cable attached ,, I'll use a pliers on the cable tomorrow. This is the most difficult I've ever had to open when things go wrong.
