I'm looking at exporting a Forester out there long-term which means I can just mask the lenses to get through the French MOT (Controle Technique). Does anyone know if the units can be adjusted to LHD or I am going to have to source altenative headlight units....

What year forester is it ?

Not entirely sure if you can but if not there's plenty of lhd ones out there

Belated thanks for this, but they know how to charge out there so I went for a UK-reg which I'm getting up to spec now.

Replacing the headlights is your best bet. What kind of bulb have you got on your forester's headlights?

Well, I'd done some research and it seems I can get them aligned for the controle Technique in france, but now the nearside headlamp has succumbed to the dreaded waterlogged ballast situation...
