New engine

My 07 Impreza 1.5R needs a new engine after damage through oil starvation, my fault. I was getting good quotes for a second hand engine but they kept turning out to be EJ16's not EJ15. It's been a while now and as I look at the specs the only difference I can see is a 2mm bore difference. What other differences are there and ultimately can I use one of these instead.
