Phillip1993
Ok so the last 2 weeks iv been trying to get to the bottom of it, some times it will boost up to 0.7bar wich is wot it is ment to be and out of nowhere it will drop to 0.5bar and go no higher. You can start the car and when you rev the engine you can feel the boost control solenoid clicking and other times you start it it won't there r no fault codes on the ecu. if anyone can help that would be great
Scoobyghost
Have you put some brake cleaner through the solenoid? Give it a flush through. I can't remember if you have a classic, if so you can connect the two green plugs under the dash and the car will run some basic operations. It will test the fuel pump, cooling fans and boost solenoid. While it's clicking away at the solenoid you can give it a squirt. Make sure to have a cloth below to catch any gunk or fluff. Scoobyghost
It is located here.... Inside that boost pipe and it looks like this... Little brass pill. It helps to control boost pressure.
